The World Netball Series takes place at the Manchester Arena from 9th - 11th October 2009.

With innovative rule changes the new format will test the fitness, technical ability and tactical awareness of the best players in the word.

Teams Competing:

• England
• New Zealand
• Australia
• Jamaica
• Malawi
• Samoa

Rule Changes:

• Matches will be 4 x 6 minute quarters
• Rolling subs
• After a goal is scored the conceding team re-starts the game with a centre pass
• Each team can elect a Power Play quarter where any goals scored will be doubled.
• Shooters can score from anywhere on the court with a goal in the shooting circle being worth 1 point and outside the shooting circle worth 2 points.
